Just watched this excellent BBC documentary on Krautrock called “The Rebirth of Germany.” It touches upon the bands Kraftwerk, Can, Neu!, Faust, Tangerine Dream, Popul Vuh, Amon Duul, and more. This documentary does a great job at giving context to the Sociopolitical aspects of post World War II Germany in relation to this avant garde music scene.
